said that while India\u2019s\u00a0<a class=\"storyTags\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; cursor: pointer; color: #2591dc;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/topic\/air-traffic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">air traffic<\/a>\u00a0will grow 6.9 per cent till 2040, the south-east Asian market will grow at an average annual rate of 5.5 per cent.<\/p><p style=\"margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; padding: 0px; color: #000000; font-size: 17px; font-family: 'open sans', Arial; width: 633.333px; line-height: 24px;\">The Chinese, African and the Latin American market will grow at an average annual rate of 5.4 per cent, 5.4 per cent and 4.8 per cent till 2040, he added.<\/p><p style=\"margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; padding: 0px; color: #000000; font-size: 17px; font-family: 'open sans', Arial; width: 633.333px; line-height: 24px;\">Gupte said that India has the lowest average fares in the world for similar distances.<\/p><p style=\"margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; padding: 0px; color: #000000; font-size: 17px; font-family: 'open sans', Arial; width: 633.333px; line-height: 24px;\">They also said that 70 per cent of the airline\u2019s line-height: 24px;\">Gupte said that India has nearly 23 million people travelling on trains every day and even if one per cent of them shifts towards aviation, the\u00a0<a class=\"storyTags\"
